the brief

Digitech was appointed to design, supply and install a communications infrastructure throughout the entire building. Consisting of all user connection points, backbone systems, wireless infrastructure and AV connectivity, Digitech worked with appointed external Construction Management Consultants – Acies – regarding all aspects of design and progress.

The communications architecture consists of a Category 6 low smoke zero halogen horizontal cabling system radiating throughout each of the seven floors and servicing some 2000 user connection points. The entire installation was underwritten and certified by Digitech in coordination with the product manufacturer namely Nexans PLC. And provided with a 25 year transmission warranty.

The project was designed, installed and managed by our in house team who worked in coordination with the appointed main contractor, Wates, architects Sheppard Robson & Audio Visual Supplier Asysco PLC.

“We have used Digitech for over 30 years for both copper and fibre optic data installations throughout the UK and Ireland. They have provided an excellent and professional service in all elements of the installations and adhered to all health and safety protocols required whilst on site.”
